How to get your kids to eat more whole grains:

Try this after school snack 'smores for your kids using Nature's Harvest bread! Cut one slice of Nature's Harvest bread into 4 equal squares. Bake in your oven for 6-8 minutes (or until desired crispiness) at 400 degrees. Take them out and cool for 5 minutes. Spread chocolate hazelnut spread over each square and add a dollop of marshmallow cream to each square. Your kids will love this yummy twist on this classic treat!

Broth Simmered Rice

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Cooking rice in broth instead of water ensures fabulous flavor and delicious results.  Try it- we bet you'll never cook rice with water again!

Ingredients

  1 3/4 cups Chicken Broth

  3/4 cup white rice

Directions

Heat the broth in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.

Stir in the rice. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.

Tip: This recipe will work with any variety of Swanson® Broth.

Florentine Simmered Rice: Add 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning to broth. Add 1 cup chopped spinach with rice. Stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve with additional cheese.
